What do you get when the big prez’ of an underwear company is a bulldog aficionado? It’s simple: boxer briefs with cute bulldogs on’em.
Earlier this summer, Raul Valencia, CEO of Malebasics, got the idea of approaching So Cal Bulldog Rescue to create a line of underwear to support one of his dearest causes to heart. A bulldog owner himself, Raul thought this would be a great opportunity to create awareness for rescue animals all over the United States.
Skip Van Der Marliere of SoCal Bulldog rescue is very excited in the idea of selling a different product this time around: ‘’We are excited to see these being offered to our supporters and the general public. The rescue has always sold t-shirts, sweat shirts, calendars and similar items to help raise funds for the care of the bulldogs. This is our first time partnering with someone that has an undergarment with adorable bulldogs on it.’’
100% of the profits will all go to help bulldogs in rescue that have been rescued from shelters or given up by owners for various reasons. So Cal Bulldog Rescue is a non profit that provides rehoming, medical care, shelter and support until the bulldogs are placed into adoptive homes. At any given time, the rescue has between 75 and 100 bulldogs in rescue that are getting care and support until homes are found.
